Open up your C textbook.  Read about the difference between "declaring"
a function and "invoking" or "calling" a function.

For example, why do you use

  printf("think I got it.\n");

instead of

  int printf("think I got it.\n");

When you can answer that, you'll know why you got the error and how to
fix it.
