I packed EZ-GCC some years ago to supply our students with an easy to install/use C-compiler. Due to several requests I made the package available on the net. It still can be found at: ftp://dictator.nt.tuwien.ac.at/Netzwerk-Server/MSDOS/EZ-GCC/ During last years cost reduction program some "expert" found out that lectures on "Programming of signal processing algorithms in C" are inessential for electrical engineering and they were cancelled without further notice. We want to start them again in march, but until now we haven't got a decision wether there will be money or not... If there is, we should have packed an EZ-GCC v2 by the end of february. On the other hand DJGPP v2 is now packed *MUCH BETTER* then v1. Unlike v1 you can install a minimum set of DJGPP v2 that contains only the files you actually need for a working compiler without being an expert. ... and harddisk space becomes cheaper every day. >I can only recommend you to the README.1ST file >of your favorite Simtelnet mirror.
