These questions may sound stupid to a programmer but I am just starting
out and I don't know what these mean:

1.  What is IDE in programming?
2.  What is Rhide?
3.  What is ALLEGRO??  Is it sort of like a header file like #include
<whatever.h> for using mouse, joystick, svga, etc?
