DJGPP is compiled by itself, that means is compiled with GCC. DJ explains how 
he made it in the first stages (before the existence of DJGPP), look in the 
DJ's server.

TASM is Borland so is either with Turbo C or with TASM itself.
MASM is M$ so M$C or MASM.
NASM can be compiled with GCC but if I remmember well is possible to compile it 
with other compilers.
