Actually, it probably wouldn't be such a bad thing if the emails sent out
to the members of the mailing list automatically attached a 2 line signature
saying how to unsubscribe from the list...

And to answer your question, not everybody knows how list-server's work...
I can handle the occasional newbie doing so simply because they have to
learn somehow, and people learn from their mistakes...
