It uses the Unicode standart version 1.1 for the encoding format and the HBF format for the font. The package modify the allegro.h, gui.c, text.c and add the Uni_txt.c, Uni_txt.h files. It comes with : - a font directory containing a 16x16 font and an index table. The font contains about 28000 characters - a 'lang' directory contains some text files in unicode format. What you Need : This package works with Allegro 2.2. I never try with other version. I will update it to Allegro 3. How it works ? After you load some files and set-up some variables, the text & gui functions still work as before.
