Could someone please inform me on how far Allegro 3 has got? Has it been
finished (miracles do happen :). More importantly, as the 16bit colour mode
been finished?

Also, if the 16bit mode has not been finished (i'm an optimist), is there
any reasonable date that I could expect it to be?

Could I also be informed of a web address where i could get the latest
version of allegro (the WIP one or the finished one) and could someone
please tell me Shawn Hargreaves e-mail address.

Thanks for the information and please excuse me if these questions are
being asked a lot lately.
