If you explicitly don't want to use the parameter foo in


void bar (int baz, int foo) {

}

Include the line at the start:
  (void)foo;

This does nothing, generates no runtime code, but tells the compiler you
deliberately included foo to conform to some signature but are not using
it in bar().
