Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Precedence: bulk Hello djgpp coders, I have been enjoying the wonderful power of djgpp programming libraries and the library of Allegro. I am yet still a beginner, I haven't really coded anything of real use yet. I coded a few simple sprites and polygon pictures with allegro and djgpp. Yet, I really want to code a game like wolfnstein, spear of destiny, doom, etc... The main thing that boggles me is the background. How do they make the walls/objects/exc so 3d'ish and other things like how they do their maps. Like how do they store the information on were objects/monsters/exc are. If anyone could possibly mail me (abatton AT qni DOT com) any helpful information; I would greatly appreciate it very much. If you do not know or do not wish to reply to this message; I am sorry for taking up your time. Sincerely, Joshua A. Batton P.S. Sorry if I have rambled too much, I seem to do that when I write letters. Also, I have recently unsubscribed from djgpp mailing list do to school taking most of my time, so please reply to my email address. Thank you.
