The following should set up a somewhat standard text style:

txo_font      = GrLoadFont("...") or GrDefaultFont;
txo_fgcolor,v = GrWhite();
txo_bgcolor.v = GrBlack();
txo_chrtype   = GR_BYTE_TEXT;
txo_direct    = GR_TEXT_RIGHT;
txo_xalign    = GR_ALIGN_LEFT;
txo_yalign    = GR_ALIGN_BOTTOM;

See grx20.h (section FONTS AND TEXT PROMITIVES) for other settings.
