Hi,

Have you installed Allegro?  If you haven't I recommend it.  It has
functions to set graphics modes in many resolutions.  
If you are using Win95 by the way, you system might crash when accessing
video modes higher than 320 by 200.  What I have found on my system is
that when I try say a 640x480 res. from text mode, it crashes, but when
I first set 320x200 or 360x600 it goes into 640x480 or 800x600 fine.
DON'T Try to task switch between you dos windows and windows however,
this could crash you system.
