Frederic, if you are looking for LIBRARIES look in my DJGPP links page. There 
are 2 libraries for DJGPP: LibZ and LZO both are libs and can be easilly 
integrated to DJGPP programs. Additionally if you plan to use graphics or sound 
you could be interested in Allegro, it includes compression.
