In short: .plan is not a word, it's a name of a file where you store your plans for future work. Programs like `finger' can display the contents of this file. So if you say something like this: finger eliz AT is DOT elta DOT co DOT il you should see what my plans are. (Don't actually try this, since I don't have a .plan file in my home directory.)
