Most of the work for the truecolor graphics is done, and in the WIP
version currently on my web page. There are still a lot of loose ends
that need cleaning up, though, and contributions from other people that
need to be merged in. The big stumbling block is that I don't have any
time to work on it at the moment, because my project at work is
approaching a release date and keeping me very busy (10 days until beta,
and the clock is ticking... :-) 

Once that's out the way, and I've had a week or so to recover, I'll get
stuck in and finish off an Allegro release. No promises exactly when
this will be, though...
