There are at least 2 libraries to interface with MSCDEX (one is BCD the other I 
don't remmember) so take a look at the code. (I have links in my page, see 
signature).
In addition to the information that Eli sent to you you can consult the Ralf 
Brown Interrupt List for the services, but I guess you know that from the TC 
code. (I have links for the RBInt package).
