DFlat is a CUA compliant Text based, event driven user 
interface library for C/C++ (actually the DFlat++ is 
the C++ version of the original DFlat).  It was written
bt Al Stevens in a series of articles written in Dr. Dobbs
Journal.  There is a version of DFlat ported to DJGPP and I 
am currently working on the DFlat++ porting.  This library
offers an alternative to some of the other CUA and non CUA
text based user interface libs out there, and it's free and
copylefted.

I also intend to "Branch" the DFlat++ into a new hybrid 
that will modify it into a multi-threaded event driven 
interface plus a bison parser based on the MGL (menu 
generation language) found in "lex & yacc" by O'Reily.
All source and stuff will be available, of course.
(provided I actually finishe this project   ;~)    )
