I'm not joking. > > You ARE joking man, my sound player (plays A LOT of sample format + MODs + synthetized sound + FLI files (320x200x256) + GUI interface (640x480x16)+ CD play module (including a data base of CDs) + Mixer control + 4 fonts + a lot of things) and is only 102 Kb! (of course DJGPP v2.01 and compressed with DJP). The sources are more than 800Kb!. Of course I can write a 100 bytes program that compiled is inflated to 1Mb without much effort, but all the people must know that DJGPP doesn't generate inflated files. The problem is what libraries are you using (I use only libc ;-).
