I have downloaded
ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2gnu/em1934b.zip
                                                  /em1934l1.zip
                                                  /em1934l2.zip
                                                  /em1934l3.zip
                                                  /em1934r1.zip
                                                  /em1934r2.zip
                                                  /em1934r3.zip
and    unzip386.exe
to my windows 3.1 pc. Unzipping apparently went fine.
Running emacs directly from windows goes fine but when
I leave (C-s C-c) I get following error message

        Application Error
 WINOLDAP caused a General Protection Fault in
 module KRNL386.EXE at 0001:0E5B

and the keybord locks.

If I instead start emacs from a dos-prompt I can close
emacs allright, but when I leave the dos-prompt (exit) 
I experience the same scenario as above. 

What can I do??


I would prefer a direct answer, since I do not subscribe
the news.
