First: Mesa is a port of OpenGL.  Mesa compiles on DJGPP..  OpenGL > DirectX.
Right now DirectX is striving to be OpenGL compliant...

Second: TCP/IP is easy to implement in DOS, *especially* OpenDOS, as it
includes Novell networking software...  Just get tcplib.zip or the like.
