True enough. In my defense, though, I'd like to point out that it was never intended to be a polished, 'finished' set of routines. I wrote it primarily because I needed a user interface for the grabber, but tried to make the code as reusable as I could. My goal was something that would be small and simple but easily extendable, so individual coders can customise the appearance to suit their personal taste... >A friend and myself are working on some modifactions to the GUI >objects including: Sounds good to me. Before you start work, though, it would be worth considering just how you plan to release this. I'm not going to offer to merge it into the main Allegro distribution, because I think this sort of polished GUI is quite a different beast to the basic framework that I'm providing, and would be more useful as a separate package. You need to decide whether to write it as a drop-in replacement for my GUI files (this would run the risk of breaking with future versions of Allegro) or as something that can be used together with my routines (this would obviously require you to choose different names for the common functions).
