So do most of the DOS extenders out there. The 286 and lower is just too flimsy (64KB segments, the need for huge pointers, etc). HOWEVER, if you want a DOS extender for 286, there's DOS16M from Watcom (makers of DOS4GW) and the Phar Lap 286+ DOS extender. The Phar Lap tool is available for free in a book (Extending DOS by Ray Duncan, if I remember correctly).
