I think its quite a good reference for midi standards as well. I'll send you my code if I get it going.. so far the SBmpu401 is a bit temperamental but I got a bug fix from Soundblaster that seems to help. If you have troubles that don't make sense and are using the SB card then I can dig up the location for you. ____ nath
