There is one problem : though. The help file appears to say I need something called the platform : SDK, obviously a software development kit. This is said to include needed : include files, libraries, and a resource and help compiler. I think they just moved the files to a different FTP server, as I downloaded them a while ago - I haven't got them to work yet. An alternative to M$'s SDK is to use the GNU Win32 include files. The license to it means that you can't sell your software, but as you're using RSXDJ, you can't do this anyway. I can't remember any URLs, but it's on all good GNU mirror site with a name like 'windows32-api'. I know Sunsite UK has it (ftp://sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages/gnu/ I think for GNU stuff). I hope this helps, Rich Dawe -- ============================================================================== "You don't have to find the solution, you've got to understand the problem, and don't go hoping for a miracle." - 'Slight Return' by the Bluetones Rich Dawe - 2nd year Physicist @ Bristol Uni, UK E-mail: rd5718 AT bristol DOT ac DOT uk Web pages: http://irix.bris.ac.uk/~rd5718/ ==============================================================================
