It compiles fine on everything but optimisation level 3 (although it's not smart to use that on a Pentium anyway). My programs appear to be faster - but it could be psychological. I don't know. My machine is a P200, so it is a real Pentium too. I recommend someone who is more skilled downloads and tries it, but so far I've proved it isn't a virus, and I *think* it works. Could be a trojan though, killing half my hard disk. I think I would have noticed however . . . By the way, -O3 ing produces a SIGSEGV, for anyone who cares. -Thomas http://www.softysoft.home.ml.org
