My strategie for answering such questions is, that the posts in comp.os.msdos.djgpp have a higher priority for me, than personal post, which are not personal but general related to RHIDE. This means the questions and problems generally related to RHIDE. There is also an other reason to post such problems at first in the news: Somtimes there are also other users with the same problems, who solved them already and can give you a better solution than i. That means also for the others, Questions in the news group related to RHIDE are answered in most cases faster by me then direct mailings (but I will them of course also, later). > Here is the output from a sample compilation and link for C > Reading specs from e:/djgpp/lib\specs > gcc version 2.7.2.1 > e:/djgpp/bin\cpp.exe -lang-c -v -undef -D__GNUC__=2 -D__GNUC_MINOR__=7 > -Dunix -Di386 -DGO32 -DMSDOS -DDJGPP=2 -DDJGPP_MINOR=0 -D__unix__ > -D__i386__ -D__GO32__ -D__MSDOS__ -D__DJGPP__=2 -D__DJGPP_MINOR__=0 > -D__unix -D__i386 -D__GO32 -D__MSDOS -D__DJGPP=2 > -D__DJGPP_MINOR=0 - e:/djgpp/tmp/RHaaaaaa\ccbaaaaa ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Whats that? The file djgpp.lnk comes from DJGPP 2.0 (You know that?) > 1. It may be, that this bug is fixed now in version 1.2a, but I'm not sure. To help me, redirect stderr to file when running RHIDE and send me this file. That means, run: redir -e err rhide ... produce the crash and send me then the file 'err'. > If I switch to Win95 and back to dos box, intensity is still normal. > Maybe my Micro$oft Win95 isn't happy if I don't use M$VC ;). > NB: this problem appeared in just one session. > I've restarted Win and everything is back to normal. > I suppose it's one of the features of Win95. ;) I think also, that this is in W95, but I'm not sure, since also other people reported some problems. > 3. Nothing can be done ! I've always to restart. May be the same problem as in 2). Bt what happens when you press Ctrl-Alt-Del? > Why Clipper is not apparently supported by RHIDE even if code is present > in the source ? You mean probably the syntax higlight things in the editor. This was made by SET, the author of the editor. Because I don't know anything about that, I cannot make anything for it in RHIDE.
