They're wrong.  To subscribe, send mail to <listserv AT delorie DOT com> with
"add djgpp" in the body.  If you put "help" in the body, the list server
will send you complete instructions.

For your information, the mailing list is mirrored to and from the
comp.os.msdos.djgpp newsgroup.  Since delorie.com is connected over a
very slow link, we prefer that you read the newsgroup instead of the
mailing list if you have reliable news access.
