Hi Brian.
As your program is a c++ program, you have to compile it
using gxx.
I am not familiar with rhide, but I guess you have to 
change an optio there, so it will use gxx.
Otherwise just go to the commandline and type
gxx hello.cpp and it should do the job (if hello
is the name of your program).
