Thanks. i saw 'todaybak.c' in the C snippets archives...with a little modification it will do what you want....i can't remeber where to find the snippets, but just do a ftp search for 'snip9510.zip' i think that one is actually pretty old...(but i can't seem to find newer files)..hope that helps... as for making it run at midnight everynight...you'll have to make a TSR...or tell win95 to run it everynight...(i made my defrager run every night)....so hopefully you got win95, it makes things a lot easier....... --KaRNaGE
