Many of those have asked me (personally) what my opinion is. Well, here it is: Microsoft sucks. As for djgpp, since I am of the above opinion, I do not plan on doing anything (myself) to support Microsoft, beyond standard 16-bit DOS compatibility. If people want to supply and support Win32 development kits (like rsxntdj1) or add 95/NT support to djgpp (like LFN in libc), they're welcome to do it - it's free software - as long as they accept my guidelines for "official" works (libc needs documentation, directory structures in zips, etc) if they expect me to include it in the official distribution. Please DO NOT REPLY to this message. I do not want to start a thread about my opinion; I would not have even stated it had I not thought that maybe I could cut down some of the traffic and let the newsgroup get back to helping people use djgpp, rather than just asking about what I think. Again, this is my *personal* opinion. I will not accept judgement from others on it and I do not wish to start a thread about it. DJ
