If so, then the : installation is OK. I can completely build a c++ program consisting entirely of classes that I have created, so I know that gcc works. It's when I try to use the libgpp classes or STL that I have the problems. I'm sure I'm not using them correctly, but I can't find anything to tell me what the 'correct' usage of the libraries is. Thanks in advance! : suggest you download the latest libg++ 2.7.2 source distribution from : the GNU ftp site (URL below) and look there. You could just find a : libstdc++.info or stl.info or some such there. If not, you will at least : get (1) an updated set of docs that might also describe STL; (2) a whole : lot of examples and sample code that might explain what you miss from the : docs. Actually, this group is refreshingly free of hot air (aka flames) - nice!
