Please find attached a sample makefile that I have made specifically to
send to people who know nothing about using Make.  It's heavily
documented and should show you everything you need to know about the
basic syntax of a makefile.  If you have any questions, or would like to
see more complex examples, just email me.

P.S.:  To avoid cluttering up the list, I'm sending the attachment
privately.  If anybody else would like a copy, I'll be glad to send it
to you.
