Since then, I've switched most of the way over to Linux, where I was introduced to WINE. Has anybody thought about asking the WINE team about this? I know that there are some options that you can use to compile WINE that will let you write Win16 (and maybe Win32, but Win32 support in WINE is still pretty shabby, but it's improving rapidly) under Linux gcc (and I remember there was a very strange workaround for the resource compiler). I'd love to help, but school seems to take up WAY too much of my time. Maybe somebody could get this going and I could help during the summer. You could also contact the Freedows'98 team (http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/7519), which is trying to make a GPL'ed Win95 clone (with full C support, so I think they'd be glad to have a GPL'ed compiler out there that works for Win32). -Joel Hardy (deeng AT inficad DOT com, not _deeng AT inficad DOT com) (formerly deeng AT fiestanet DOT com) "...Windows For Repeat Offenders..." -- Dave Barry In Cyberspace
