But since you asked: some commands are in a directory that's not on the PATH by default (like C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND or some such). Run a program that searches your disk for a command that you don't find, and you will see where it is. Then add that directory to your PATH. > I get the feeling microsoft wants to kill Dos.
