I would certainly agree with you, and add the point that in some cases
it's just as well that support is so readily available - I've been
trying to use some GUI systems, whose authors belong to the School of
Telepathic Documentation. You get just enough info to get you
interested, but not enough to start doing anything serious. Maybe its
just me :o(
