Should I create a new directory in > \DJGPP, or what? AFAIK, allegro is designed to be installed like all the other DJGPP packages. The best way to see this is to just look at the contents of the zipfile. To extract it, put it in your DJGPP root directory and unzip, preserving the directory structure (-d switch to pkunzip; default behavior for unzip). You will need to build the distribution to get working headers and libraries, and may need to edit the LIBRARY_PATH, etc. in 'djgpp.env'. It should all be in the readmes. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- | John M.
