As a newcomer, please just let me support Eli's point:
 I found the discussion of gcc command lines in the documentation both
helpful and straightforward, for the most part.

Further, as someone who prefers a DOS interface and wants 32-bit power, I
find both the use of protected mode and the UNIX-like utilities a big plus
for djgpp.

With Eli, I would say that the elegance of a 32-bit memory model is an asset,
not a "complication."
