Hallo.

I've made a set of two little tool with djgpp 2.0 that generate or
apply patches to binaries. Now my question:

I use puts(), fopen(), fread(), fwrite() and sprintf() out of stdlib and
this result in 60k filesize for both tools. But at least the tool to
apply patches should be as small as possible.

How could I reduce the (packed) filesize ?

Are there portable ways to do this or would more direct access to DOS be
some help ?

Could one post me (here or mail) example code on how to solve this
problem ?

Any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance, Kay Hayen
