As for gcc, I really thing gcc is easier to use under Linux than under DOS (no offense DJGPP!). I bet(!) most people who already feel comfortable with DJGPP and its unixisms, would _love_ linux. Just give it a try, and if it's still too hard (again: it's not!!!), come back later. Martynas
