	I had the very same problem... Very difficult to discern, from the
strange asm. messages thrown out. Finally I found that I could perform a
makeshift fix, by replacing the asm code for the bank switching on the
ATI card with code for the Cirrus Logic card. I assume this would work
for you as well. 
 	Another option: Get a copy of Liballeg.a from a friend!
