The only source of > information was (is) VGADOC 4.b which does not contain enough data to > create anything useful. this is a legacy of the bad old days when Matrox required signing of an ND before they would give you anything (similar to the old problem with Diamond cards). however, i just read yesterday that XFree86 is adding support for the Matrox Millenium to their Xservers on high-end PC's and the DECpc XL (the Alpha-based "NT Dream Machine," better served under Linux/Alpha).
