Realize, though, that TCXL (from Innovative Data Corporation) is a copyrighted non-freeware package. (They did release the "small" model versions as shareware some years ago). At one time, TCXL Chip Rabinowitz did release a Unix version -- but I never acquired that. Instead, I purchased the MS-DOS library complete with source code. All of the C components compiles perfectly but the ASM modules are a bit of a problem. I'm slowly working on transforming these to AT&T-style syntax. All of the trivial functions doing direct hardware addressing that I've tackled thus far do perform just fine. BTW, it has been years since I've contacted IDC (last located in Hatboro, PA). Does anyone know if they are they still in business? I've been _extremely_ pleased with their libraries and have had no need to upgrade or complain -- hence the lack of contact. -- ============================================================================= Bob Nelson: Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. - bnelson AT netcom DOT com linux for fun, M$ for $$$...and the NFL for what really counts! =============================================================================
