I DL'ed Rhide Beta 6; it looked great.
However, while using the cut-and-paste utilities (Ctrl-Ins,Shift-Ins)
the program displayed a nasty tendency to keep the highlighted
area permanently highlighted, and then freeze( no more text could
be entered, though the window could be closed and the program terminated
normally).
This doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be irritating.
It never happended with the Beta 5 version.
My system is a 486 DX4-100 with 12Mb, under NDOS with cwsdpmi v3.
The ansi.sys driver is loaded.
