Well... MFC support is nothing to be rally proud of. The library is
lousy and an excellent example of BAD object-oriented design and
programming.

That's right. MFC, for example, on M$ VC4 CD (I don't know how much on
Watcom CD) takes 120 MB of space!!!

Agreed here!

But DJGPP supports signatures - no commercial compiler supports them.
And they are far better than templates which are a very artificial
construct.

Well, in general I have nothing against Watcom, I have used it for a few
years. But I'm afraid it got infected with that virus which bugs all the
commercial compilers: "Gigantus Vulgaris". These compilers are just
oversized. Show me just one programmer who will use all these "add-ons"
that come with compiler? All those fancy IDEs, graphical debuggers, app
builders - are they really THAT necessary?
