Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit A lot of questions that come through the mail are easily answered questions, but are the sort of queries which don't really belong in the faq. Also, a lot of them can be answered through redirection to web sites, simple answers posted/mailed etc. Is it feasible to have a zip file for inclusion with DJGPP which contains tutorials on such things as basic inline assembly: accessing variables, etc etc. Most of the tutorials would (with permission) probably just be tutorials other people have written (such as Brennans inline asm tutorial) included in the zip. It could have the tutorials distributed in info, text and html format, and would probably save a lot of mail/news. All Eli would have to do is make a pointer in the faq to say grab the tutorial zip if someone is having trouble in a certain area, or whatever! I would be happy to compile such a beast (as I can't program on the computers I have access to here at work), and I think it would help a lot of beginners learning the basics of DJGPP. What do you guys think??? Leathal.
