(Like Quake.) I was wondering if it is even remotely feasable to write a C++ network library that supports DOS, Windows 95, IPX, TCP-IP, SERIAL and LOCAL networking. It would have to be fully OOP, with all the fun extras like operators, etc.. I'd like to know if anyone has ever tried this and wether they've succeeded or not. Technical info on networking and client/server systems would also be appreceated. Reply by email please. Thanx. -- ... the Lord Shaman ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "My aim is life is to become immortal, or die trying." http://www.nlc.net.au/~shaman or mailto:shaman AT nlc DOT net DOT au ----------------------------------------------------------------------
