A fixed EMXAOUT is now available at ftp.scitechsoft.com in the file 
/devel/emxaout1.zip (binary built with Watcom and source files).

Eberhard Mattes has helped me get the last few bugs out of the 
EMXAOUT object file converter, and it is now fully functional for 
every TASM object module I have been able to throw at it. It now 
fully handles TASM iterated data blocks (LEDATA/LIDATA records) as 
well as all internal/external fixups.

What is EMXAOUT? It is an object module converter originally 
developed by Eberhard Mattes for use with his EMX port of the GNU C 
compiler to DOS/OS2, and converts TASM/MASM assembled OMF .OBJ 
modules to GNU C compatible COFF .O modules. I have ported the 
converted to both DJGPP and Watcom C++ so you can build it an use it 
without requiring the EMX environment, and in theory it could even be 
ported to Linux/FreeBSD for assembler code on those OS'es.

We have currently used this converted to assemble and link over 
50,000 lines of 32-bit assembler code for our SuperVGA Kit and MGL 
graphics libraries, so that we can now fully support DJGPP with our 
libraries. If you already have an investment in 386 assembler code 
you would like to move to DJGPP, this is the perfect tool for the 
job.
