Reply-To: kagel AT dg1 DOT bloomberg DOT com Date: Mon, 19 Aug 1996 18:52:56 +0200 From: hubble AT hem DOT passagen DOT se (Andreas Vernersson) One day ago i posted a simple question about the 4byte large ints 32-bits compiler have.. and i got 11 answers, all of them saying mostly exactly the same things.. I think this is very annoying and unnecessary, couldn't you guys read what other people have answered before you post the same things? We do, but with network delays and not being "on the net" all of the time we often do not see each other's responses until after we have posted our own. Don't complain, there are lists and newsgroups out there which would have ignored a question which was so obvious to us in "the know". At least here we are not snobbish enough to have left you swinging in the breeze. BTW: Didn't anyone ever warn you about biting the hand that feeds you? The one person you may have put off by your complaint may be the one who knows the answer to your next question. -- Art S.
