[1] Stupid news program posted several times but hung after it did so; I canceled the post operation and it said it had not succeeded when it had. Explains the 5 copies of the message. Sorry about this! It did this on another newsgroup too... how embarrassing! [2] There IS a comma in the "for" line which should be a semicolon and the test compiled perfectly when this was corrected. [3] I withdraw some of my previous complaints and make one small new one: the ERRORS when I use templates are unclear! If only it said complexu.cpp:22: comma in "for" should be a semicolon I did get an E-mail about this, but the guy drew an ascii arrow and it pointed to the wrong place in my proportional font! Watch those ascii arrows... and I'll watch my fonts. Still, though, some of those complaints about templates are quite valid!!! I still can't get enums and typedefs to work in template classes (funny how STL seems to do typedefs fine, now) -- but I'll try it again. -------- Ed Kiser (edkiser AT jaxnet DOT com) "The great epochs of our lives are at the points where we rebaptize our badness as the best in us." -- Nietzsche
