I need some information on the Soundblaster Pro card, so that I may =
create a program for recording .WAV files from the microphone socket. =
Can anybody help? I already know how to play audio and MIDI files.

Also, I heard about a realtime effects processing program, which alters =
the sound as it is being played. Does anyone know how to create such a =
program (or can point me in the right direction), or would I need a =
specific piece of hardware too?
