The main trick is that the tests need the library sources to be
installed. They use the utility programs DJ wrote for the library
building procedure (rmake.exe, several makefile fragments, etc.), so
you at least have to provide these, if you don't want to keep the lib
sources lying there, eating up quite some space on your hd.
